Please email us to learn all about this wonderful kitten!
The average size of a Birman litter is between 3 and 5 kittens. The kits are born pure white, and then develop their colours as they age. The darker point colours such as seal and chocolate become noticeable on the kitten’s ears and noses within a week, but the lighter point colours such as blue, lilac and cream can take several weeks to become evident.
Our kittens remain with us for at least 12 weeks before they can go to their new homes. This allows us and the Birman Mommas to ensure that the kittens are healthy, vaccinated, fully trained in kitty manners (litter box and scratching post), well socialized and familiar with normal household sounds and activities. This helps the kitten to adapt quickly when they go to live in a new environment.
Birman kittens are very active and inquisitive. They thrive on lots of love and play. They enjoy the company of other animals. The recipe for having a Birman live happily with you for many years includes lots of love and interaction, a diet consisting of high quality kitten/cat food, and regular yearly health checks with a veterinarian.
All new owners of our kittens are required to sign a Sales Contract with us. This outlines appropriate care policies that we expect you to follow, such as remaining indoors, no declawing, and nutritional concerns.
